3D

Unreal Scene (YR13 2023)
The brief: to create a 10-30 second camera animation of a 3D environment using visual storytelling. For this project, I was slightly inspired by the show Adventure time as I had been watching it whilst doing skill building and planning. My scene features a town square (?) with a ominous green pool in the center, (kinda resembling the Lich's well of power), creating cracks all across the ground. Each houses window and doorway is lit up as if there were still people there, but no soul is around to occupy them. The air is filled with toxic looking green and blue fog. I wanted the scene to make people question: 'what exactly happened here?'
If I could improve anything, I would have created a more detailed 3D models and gave meaning to my camera shots as I just filmed what I though looked cool. I also wanted to make the liquid more glowy and bright. 3D is definitely something I wish to practice more, as I consider it a weak point and am interested in combining it with 2D stuff in the future. I think that would be fun!
